Promotic PromoTIC: Firm promoting and supporting the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in Haiti PromoTIC is a technology firm founded in April 2011 with the aim of contributing to the development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Haiti. The firm, well aware of the opportunities and challenges of information and communication technologies for everyone, proposes to accompany users in their first steps towards the information society. The firm aims to promote, popularize and appropriate information and communication technologies (ICT) for the benefit of all Haitians for a practical approach to digital life. Haiti missed the agricultural and industrial revolutions for various causes, but the requirements of the digital revolution are accessible to both rich and poor countries. PromoTIC shares the point of view of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) which makes communication a fundamental human right. Areas of intervention PromoTIC's interventions are based on two main axes: In the first axis, PromoTIC makes promotion a priority in order to encourage a cyberculture in Haiti. It particularly targets children and young people who are called upon to immerse themselves in the opportunities offered by ICTs to make them a way of life. The achievement of the objectives necessarily requires this program developed to meet the needs of all segments of the population. The main activities of this axis are as follows:
